Tourism Industry Assoc. of Nova Scotia (TIANS) issues statement against net-pen fish farm expansion

TIANS expresses great concern for the 2.61 Billion dollar Tourism industry that employs 40,000 Nova Scotians: ...."open-pen fin fishery could threaten the viability of this valuable sector and the brand of the province as a destination."

In summary the TIANS statement calls on the government to prioritize and support land-based developments only.
